BTS optimistic in spite of May setback

After anti-government protesting, BTS is still optimistic about its revenue growth this year. Chairman Keeree Kanjanapas said the company lost about 160 million baht when train must discontinue service. He hopes the government will give a assistance for loss of BTS revenue.

from April 6 to May 23, BTS stop service for a whole day on occasions for a total of eight days. Keeree said right now passenger numbers were over to the ordinary average of 400,000 to 500,000 per day with daily revenue of 10-12 million baht, though foreign passengers remain few. However, the situation is better. This year, BTS would maintain its overall benefit growth goal of 8%. Mr Keeree said the company's two condominiums that is built near BTS station, Abstract Phahonyothin Park and Abstract Sukhumvit, had gotten a great response with presales of 80% and 66%. The company is plan to open these projects next month.

In my opinion, anti-government protesting effect to many things including BTS. BTS is one kind of transportation that everyone prefers to use daily. A result that following is the discomfort of passenger and the revenue of BTS , when BTS stopped service. If it is closed by government, it is quite acceptable. Because it will happened by advising that bring to solving a problem. It depends on condition of security. Nevertheless, it is closed by protesting. I think it is not necessary. It seems to pressuring the government and does not useful.

Bangkok’s Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) Opens

the opening of the first BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) route in Bangkok, starting from Sathorn Station (BTS Chong Nonsri) to Rajapruek Station. The 15.9 km route has 12 stops and the time from one place to the other is 30 minutes. It can contain to 80 passenger with seats for 20 people. The buses begin to running from 6 am. to midnight every day. Everyone can buy a ticket from a machine in the station and you continue to the platform. However, the ticket system is imperfect. Riding of BRT will be free from now until August 31 2010. After that, it will change a ticket fee to 10 baht through December 2010. In 2011, it will be 12 to 20 baht.

In my opinion, I think Bus Rapid Transport is necessary for a city man. Because their activity always hustle in everyday. Although, the government has established BTS already, it is not enough for demand of the people who stay around that area. For example, Siam , there are many companies open around there. It happened on May. It was the greatest Thai concert that LA & NYC will ever see. I would like post it into my blog. Although it slip away for 2 months ago. It was a proud of Thai people. Bird Thongchai is the most famous singer in Thailand. He released his album about 20 albums. It was not surprise why he is a number of Thai singers. Even if drama that he played, it got a good feedback.






Bird Thongchai in Concert in LA & NYC, this concert happened because he concerned Thai people in LA&NYC want to join a concert that was Thai concert and he has never disposed concert in foreign land. Therefore, it was inspiration why he should go to LA & NYC. It was a place that most of Thai people live. As for his guest, including to Da Endorphine, Kat Kattreeya, Pinky, Ko – tee and Na Kom. I think Bird Thongchai is a professionnal singer because he know a way how to success in his career. He mass to training and love his fanclub very much. Then he has friendly charactor that everybody like. Every work that he has a chance to associate always succeed. I ever heard that he has a lot of money and think to help a poor people by distributing his site to a poor people for agriculture. I realize that he is not only a good man but also a good singer.

He is a contestant of Academy Fantasia Season 7. He had to quit from a contest. Because He criticised a spirited message on his Facebook page about Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. For example sentence that he posted, if Mr. Abhisit had resigned as the red shirts demanded, they would not have set fire to Bangkok and you are probably scared you will be quit without a job. Thai Students Won 18 Medals From Mathematics World Contest

14 July 2010 - Thai students went to Hong Kong in order to took a competitive mathematics world contest examination. They won 18 medals. As for education Minister, Chinnaworn Boonyakiat, explained that four were gold from team, four were consolation prize, 3 were silver and seven were bronze. Mr. Chinnaworn Boonyakiat said that from this contest, it showed the capability of thai students was better than before. The winner of Wimbledon competition 2010 was Rafael Nadal. This was the second time of Nadal that go to Wimbledon 2010. He have ever played in the French open before. After that he left from it to Wimbledon 2010 for two years ago. The competitor who played with Nadal was Czech Tomas Berdych. Both of them try to found a way to be a winner. Finally, Nadal won Berdych 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 in two hours 13 minutes. In lasted 11 minutes Berdych need to got himself back into a game. However, his attempt was fruitless. In my opinion,i think Nadal has efficienty enough to get the Wimbledon prize. Including his tennis skills and experiences that were gained from all tournament. However,Berdych who can through to final round has potential,too. Unfortunately, he was missing a opportunity to won Nadal.
